Wanna know how to make a Mamma Robin Angry? Pick up her cute little fuzzy baby!

Isn’t this the cutest? The Ric and the kids found him yesterday in the lawn. We think it fell out of its nest and isn’t quite ready to fly yet. He’s OK, nothing broken and really strong! (It still has a lot of his little downy feathers!)

Mom has been keeping a REALLY close watch on him. Any time we got close, she’d let us know she was there.

Today, we decided to move him to the neighbor’s yard because we didn’t want the kids or the dog to play with him. Soooo…I picked him up.

I’ve never heard a Robin get so angry! She was flying all around and letting us know that she wasn’t happy about the whole situation! This riled up all the OTHER birds in the neighborhood!

Luckily, it was short lived. I moved the bird to the neighbor’s yard, it’s mamma followed me every step of the way. Hopefully, it will be flying soon, back to its nest!

(At least it’s a little safer being away from kids and puppy paws!)
